Trust Storytelling Festival 2023
Aletheia Academies Trust held its second annual Storytelling Festival on Wednesday 24th of May at Saint George’s School. The event, which was organised by Mrs. Roddan, Head of School of Rosherville Church of England Academy, involved pupils and teachers from Saint George's Church of England School, St Botolph's Church of England Primary School, Rosherville Church of England Primary, Sutton-at-Hone Church of England Primary School, Cliffe Woods Primary School, Stone St Mary's Church of England Primary School and Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School coming together to share their exciting stories.
Each school performed and listened to riveting tales from India, China, Nigeria, Russia, and other parts of the world, dressed in fantastic costumes and props, as well as listening to the attention-grabbing stories from other schools.
Other highlights of the event included storytelling around the fire while the group ate chocolate chip cookies made by Saint George’s Kitchen staff.
Many thanks to Mrs. Roddan and everyone involved for putting together another successful festival – a wonderful day full of imagination, creativity and community.
